King Jonathan was not what you might think of as an ordinary King.
He wasn't fat. He wasn't rich and he was not even related to a royal family.
In fact, he was much like you and me. Just an ordinary boy, living in an ordinary
house, in an ordinary town called Johnstown on the Helfred River in England.
The only thing that made his house different from the other houses, were the
flags that flew over it displaying his family colors, Silver, Black and Red.
Jonathan's father was a former Knight and received his colors for bravery, honor,
loyalty and for being wounded in battle. Sir Jonathan retired from the Kings service
to get married after twenty years of duty.
Sir Jonathan moved to the river to get away from London and the fighting.
He found a nice quiet place on the rivers edge to settle down with his wife
Lilly and raise his son Jonathan.
His plot of land soon became known as Johnstown.
As the town grew, so did its reputation. Soon Captain Missing Two Fingers
heard about Johnstown, and the Captain wanted what Johnstown had.
