PS If you have a story you would like to share with me YOU can write me at,
I wrote this story based on historical research of the Bearce family name and hand me
down stories from my Grandfather Jack and my Father Kenneth D. Bearce.
I wrote this story because, after my Dad died, I felt so alone and lost. I wish I had paid
more attention to him and I wish I had just one more day with him to tell him how much I
loved him.
I tried to remember the stories he told me in order to feel closer to him. So I began some
research on those stories. Come to find out, most of the stories were true.
I believe that family history is important to everyone. After all, that is what keeps our
ancestors alive in our hearts.
Far too often today family are torn apart by one thing or another and family history is lost
or forgotten.
For those of you who are lucky enough to have a full family. Please listen to them and
their stories. Try to remember the stories. It might not seem important to you right now but
later on in your life you will thank me and yourself for paying attention to them.
Many of you may not know your maternal family but if you did I would be willing to bet they
would have some great stories to tell you. Perhaps you could conduct your own research.
I hope you enjoy listening to my story as much as I enjoyed telling it.
